Chad M. Bradley

Director of Safety - Dreicor

Mr. Bradley has been part of the Dreicor team since 2006. He began his career at Dreicor serving as a Field Timekeeper, while also supporting the ongoing corporate safety program. He returned to school in 2009 to pursue his degree in mathematics at the University of North Carolina. During this time worked for Kyocera Industrial Ceramics, serving multiple roles including production management, OSHA safety oversight, and quality control programs including Kaizen and Six Sigma tools.

Mr. Bradley completed his degree in 2013, and returned to Dreicor in 2014 to take over the role of Director of Safety. In this position, Mr. Bradley has been the driving force behind the adoption of the Behavioral Based Safety Program. His work in this area includes safety training for all engineering and construction disciplines, training of subcontractors, and oversight and administering the data collection and reporting functions. Mr. Bradley is responsible for Dreicor’s safety performance in the shop and in the field, and he has been able to cause a cultural shift in the attitudes surrounding construction safety.

Dreicor has seen a steady decrease in the number of accidents/lost time accidents over the past six years, including zero reportable accidents in 2021. Under Mr. Bradley’s direction, Dreicor has implemented the “Stretch and Flex” program, which has nearly eliminated musculoskeletal injuries. The effectiveness of Mr. Bradley’s efforts can be seen in Dreicor’s EMR rating, which has stayed below 0.9 since 2016.

Mr. Bradley is a Board Certified Safety Professional, and received his certificate in 2018. In addition, he is certified to teach OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety programs, as well as OSHA 500 (Train the Trainer).
